GENERAL INFORMATION

GAS ANALYSIS 2024 COMES BACK ON A 3-DAY ORGANISATION WITH PARALLEL SESSIONS COVERING THEMES RESPONDING TO THE WORLD’S CHALLENGES. THE SYMPOSIUM PROVIDED A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO EXCHANGE KNOWLEDGE AND TO COLLECT INFORMATION ON MARKET AND RESEARCH DEVELOPMENTS IN THE FIELD OF GAS ANALYSIS.

A substantial number of exceptional proposals has allowed the organisers to curate a robust programme. The Organising Committee worked hard to compose an inspiring programme, taking into account the experiences and feedback from previous editions.

5 MAIN SESSION THEMES

GAS Analysis 2024 offered 3 full days of lectures included 2.5 days with parallel sessions. Each lecture lasts 15 minutes, plus 5 minutes of Questions/Answers.
For this edition, we distinguished five main session themes:

1. Hydrogen Energy Carrier

2. Advances in gas metrology

3. Energy Transition

4. Climate & Air Quality

5. Industrial Innovation

1️⃣ The first day was dedicated to Hydrogen with full session all day long. During the afternoon, the workshop PROMETH2o took place (limited seats).

2️⃣ On the second day, parallel sessions took over : "Advances in Gas Metrology" and "Industrial Innovation" and also a short course about "Accreditation".

New for this edition, one dedicated poster session has been introduced from 1.50 to 3.00 pm. Posters have been displayed in the exhibition area in the GAS Analysis Hub, the core location of the event, all the event long.

3️⃣ On the third and last day, 2 short courses  happened in parallel: "Hydrogen Safety" and "Uncertainties", followed by the parallel sessions "Energy Transition" and "Climate & Air Quality".

POSTER SESSION

Posters have been displayed in the exhibition area in the GAS Analysis Hub, the core location of the event, all the event long.

New for this edition, one dedicated poster session has been introduced from 1.50 to 3.00 pm on Wednesday 31 January.

During this poster session, the author of the poster will present her of his poster, will answer any question or discuss research results in more detail. Prior to the poster session, authors are encouraged to pitch their poster in our ‘Gas Analysis Hub’ in order to attract more experts to their poster.

PROMETH2O WORKSHOP - SOLD OUT

Places are limited and access is by pre-reservation only.

This workshop will take place on Tuesday January 30 afternoon. The PROMETH2O project seeks precise gas moisture measurement. Despite advances in mid-to-high humidity, low water content measurement gaps remain. It enhances trace water measurement in vacuum and UHP gases, developing standards and innovative techniques. The workshop fosters global collaboration, aiming to transform industry practices, improve metrology, and engage stakeholders in solving measurement challenges.

GALA DINNER - SOLD OUT

A prestigious dinner event will be organised on the second day for GAS Analysis participants (200 pax). Being the exclusive dinner sponsor offers your organisation possibilities of giving this dinner your own touch that will be remembered by participants when talking about this special event.

For this edition, La Coupole will welcome our GAS Analysis participants. It is a legendary Paris brasserie in Montparnasse whose role in art history is almost too dense to recount. The enormous, art-deco dining room at La Coupole largely preserves the brasserie’s 1920s decor.
