The international Gas Analysis Symposium & Exhibition, also known as the GAS Analysis event, continues under new organisation. NEN has decided to stop organising the GAS Analysis event. With Collège Français de Métrologie (CFM), the organisation committee has found an experienced and committed partner to continue organising the GAS Analysis event. The next edition will be organised in 2022, venue and date will soon be communicated by CFM.
In 2019, the 10th edition of GAS Analysis event was celebrated. Starting with a symposium programme with a few companies exhibiting their products and services, the GAS Analysis event has grown into a 3-day conference & exhibition event with a high-quality symposium in parallel sessions, a scientific poster session, short courses, large exhibition floor and several social events. With this, the biennial GAS Analysis event has become the leading global symposium for gas analysis and the best forum for the latest developments and applications in industry and society.
Gas Analysis 2022
NEN is pleased that CFM is motivated to organise GAS Analysis 2022, building on the format that was initially intended for GAS Analysis 2021 that had to be postponed due to COVID-19. With this, the gas analysis community is offered the opportunity to meet peers, share research findings and discuss cutting-edge advancements in the world of gas analysis. Confirmed speakers for the 2021 edition can still present their results including latest developments. Also exhibitors will have the opportunity to introduce their innovative products, technologies and services.
Collège Français de Métrologie (CFM)
CFM is a French not-for-profit association in the field of metrology with an industrial vocation with almost 700 members. CFM aims to disseminate the good practices for measurement and metrology over people of the measurement world through various actions. One of the actions concerns the biennial International Metrology Congress (CIM), which shows many similarities with the GAS Analysis Event. Given their experience, targeted audience and field of activities, NEN is confident that CFM will deliver GAS Analysis 2022 that will meet the expectations of the gas analysis community.
Call for abstracts
The coming period, NEN will transfer all its activities to CFM to ensure a smooth transition. CFM – with the support of the organisation committee – will establish the venue and date for GAS Analysis 2022. A call for abstracts will soon be opened in which experts are invited to share their research findings with a devoted audience by providing a lecture or by presenting a scientific poster.
